In the game manual is says that a robot can not hold more than 3 discs in one time during the match. Does that mean that you can’t hoard them for the whole entire match. Because what if you have a mechanism that sucks up the discs and places them in a cylinder then scores. Can you have that?
Well, to find the answer to that I would suggest looking at sg7, which is the rule that explains that

The rules are there to guide the game play. Generally, if the manual doesn’t prohibit something, it is allowed. limits possession to 3 discs (As shown above) As long as you don’t hold more than 3 rings at a time, you can store them in your robot and then score them all at once.

It’s “disc” with a c instead of “disk”. Disk typically refers to magnetic storage disks, such as hard disks or floppy disks, whereas disc is more often associated with disc sports.
