Vex AutoCAD

My team has asked me to make some CAD drawings of a possible design change. Does any one know where I can download the part files for AutoCAD instead of Inventor Fusion?
I hate Inventor Fusion and am hoping to get the part files for AutoCAD.
Any ideas would be a lot of help. Thanks:)

On the product page of each item there is a link to download the STEP file of it. I don’t know how to incorporate it into AutoCAD though, and I don’t think AutoCAD is the right program for this.

Thanks. i have found those. any other program that u could suggest to use instead of AutoCad

Inventor Fusion is an annoying program, I agree. I would very much recommend getting Autodesk Inventor Professional. It is what most teams use in VEX, and a student license is easy to get. Other options include SolidWorks, which is popular with a select few in VEX, but in my experience is more difficult to get for free.

Thanks. I have used Autodesk Inventor Professional before and loved it. although we will be running the program of a mac.

Parts Library

Here’s a parts library courtesy of Bots N Stuff (Jordan).

if you are using a mac then you are going to need parallels or some other bootCamp to run windows and use Inventor. Parallels works well, but costs $$.
BootCamp comes with your mac and works, but is not as convenient, but you will get slightly better performance.
