I’ve currently given myself the task of making a Autodesk Inventor 2014 tutorial series to help new teams and students to learn how to cad and design their robots. This is also doubling slightly as a school project so feedback is appreciated as well as suggestions for future episodes!
As I create new videos and upload them to the playlist, I will post them to this thread.
The first episode can be found here: Episode 1
Thank you for taking your time out to make these videos! It really helps teams get started with CAD, especially because most good tutorials are outdated.
No worries Cameron, that was the exact reason I’ve wanted to make these. The youtube tutorials I used were quite out of date so I thought a new one was kinda due
Nice work Marco and I’m sure that’ll keep you busy over the summer break. Any reason for Inventor 2014 and not 2015? Just curious.
Thanks Jason, that’s the plan! Main reason is it’s what I’ve got to work with, as well as I’ve heard people say 2015 is slightly buggy / 2014 is more stable. Not sure if they’re 100% fact or just opinion but I decided 2014 is what most would use anyways, and I’ve never had an issue with it.
