We’re having an issue with Vex code not saving our settings and the program. Every time we tried to make a change or enter a program, we save it. When we reopen the file, nothing is saved. we tried uninstalling and reinstalling Vexcode a few times already. Anyone else have this problem?

What operating system are you using?
Our team uses a Chromebook and we used to use the locally installed instance of VEXCode IQ but with a recent update made to that program, it was strongly suggested we no longer use the locally installed version and instead use it directly from the browser (https://codeiq.vex.com/).
Perhaps try that?

Sorry to hear that you are having issues. I would like to help resolve this issue, but I’m going to need some additional information. Can you please tell me
- What operating system and version of the app (web based or installed app) you are using?
- Is the file save to the selected location?
- How are you opening the file? are you using the file menu open action or trying to open the file from outside of VEXcode?
If you are trying to open the file from outside of VEXcode, please try to open the file from the file menu option in VEXcode. The installed app does not currently support opening project files from outside of the app. This is something that we are working on supporting with a future release.
