What coding apps do you guys use? Our teams were having some trouble with the Vex Code Pro V5 what was happening is that our Brain won’t connect at all and when we tried moving to the website it connected while still using the same computer and brain but the code wasn’t working after we installed it onto the brain and wired it up with working controllers. Any ideas on how we should fix this?
Here are your main options:
- VEXcode V5 (with blocks or text) (better for newer teams)
- VEX code pro V5 (generally a good option)
- VEXcode V5 online (better for teams that cannot download, e.g. school computers)
- VEXcode V5 VS Code extension (good for github and version control)
- PROS (for more advanced teams, have a look at the documentation to see if you are up for it.
Will the controller show up? (it should be orange or green) Since it is showing up online, it isn’t a cable issue or a brain issue or a port issue. From what I know, it might either be a permissions or driver thing.
Would the program go to the run screen when you press the run button. Please elaborate.
I really hope this was a typo.

We were using vex code pro v5. No the controller was not showing up. We could run the code but nothing would respond we even went so far as to just make a basic line of code. And yes it was a typo.
