We have had this controller for a good amount of time with no issues but ever since we got back from our latest tournament our controller has been messed up. The top joystick does not return to the middle when it is moved by itself instead you have to manually bring the joystick to the middle for the robot to stop moving.

We have also had this issue, I think it was caused by in our case it being held to one side for the one time and now feels stuck in one position unless it is moved manually.

Was the controller dropped at the competition or did the joystick sustain any kind of large impact?
I have had very similar issues in the past and they have come from the joystick hitting the ground when the controller was dropped. There could be other reasons for this issue but this is what I know from my experience.

This happened to me recently. The way I fixed it was by pushing the joystick in to the controller more. I just turned it to each side and pushed really hard on the ball part of it.
Was the controller dropped or the joystick pulled out during your comp?

Push the joystick till you hear a click. This happened to us and made us feel very very dumb.

My team had issues with this on an IQ controller and all we had to do was push the joystick in and it was fixed

I rotated the joystick and pushed it down and I brought it to middle and applied pressure, neither of these worked so I will take it apart and add lubricant and hope it will work.

I had doubts that it would be modifying the controller but I’m just going to remove the back part and add lubricant on the side of the joystick and put the controller back together so I am just making it better, similar to how some people 3d print extension on the controller but I am not completely sure that the lubricant thing is legal so I will try checking with my coach first.
