VEX CTE brain project

Dear All,

I am programming VEX CTE. I can get the robot arm moving as expected if it is connected directly to my laptop.
However, if it is connected to the brain, I lose control of it.
I did create a brand new EXP brain project , and downloaded the program to the brain.
Still, the robot arm does move an inch.
I believe there is some bug there.

Does the CTE arm have external power ?
Is the EXP firmware fully updated ?
Does the CTE arm show in the EXP devices screen ?
Have you tried different cables and/or ports ?

The robot arm has stable external power.
I have already updated the firmware.
Luckily, we have multiple CTE workcell, so I tried with others, and when I come back with the first robot arm, it can be recognized and controlled by the brain.
I still have issue with one of the robot. The EXP project works well with all other robot arms, but when I use the brain to control this particular robot arm, it simply does not work.
I cannot even perform basic operations on this robot arm. For example, when I hit ‘move to safe position’ in teach pendant, I expect the robot arm to go to the predefined location and hold there. Instead, it just moves to the position and then goes limp, almost as if it’s losing power. It seems there’s some sort of internal constraint preventing the arm from holding its position. Serious issues when programming too. Basic magnet engage , and release commands gave me errors.
I never experienced similar issues with other VEX CTE workcells we have.

Then it sounds like the best approach is to call VEX support
