VEX EDR same as VEX IQ drive shaft

Hi - since the long VEX IQ drive shafts are not available I’m wondering if the VEX EDR 12" drive shafts are the same as the 24 pitch VEX IQ shafts.

If so are uncut VEX 12" dive shafts competition legal?

(our robot requires those shafts so I’m wondering if we’ll have to replace the EDR shafts at a later date)

Yes, 2", 3", and 12" EDR drive shafts are considered identical to the equivalent length (4x, 6x, and 24x pitch) IQ shafts. Thus they are legal for use in the VEX IQ Challenge. However, please note that this not change the fact that you are still not allowed to cut and VEX IQ parts and use them in the VEX IQ Challenge.
