Looking to program Vex EXP Catapult. When I go to the curriculum, there is nothing there! We are just using it for a class, not competition.
Hi @Madison_dalporto, off the bat the EXP CatapultBot is able to be Driver Controlled, this means that you can use the controller without any programming to control your robot. After you follow the build instructions with the specific port configurations, and after you have reversed motor 4 per the instructions, view this article from the VEX Library on using the Driver Control program.
Next, using the port configurations from the Build Instructions, you are able to follow along when configuring your CatapultBot in VEXcode EXP. It is important to take note which motors would be reversed in order to compliment each other, such as the drivetrain (already accounted for in the BaseBot template), as well as the intake. The very last image of the build instructions on page 39, step 6 shows that you need to reverse the motor plugged into port 4. Please see the image below, in which I have configured the devices of the CatapultBot, taking into account that reversed motor.
Copying the above device configuration will allow you to program your robot similarly to how you are used to with the other EXP bots!
