When I read this I hear the voice of the lady on TV when they give out the award for best screenplay and the voice reads a selected part of the script aloud. It’s so funny.

The GDC sounds like a ton of fun. It must be cool to get to make up a game with no strict criteria to have to follow. Although i can understand that it is stressful.

I’d be honored if I was Green Egg Robotics or Wildstang, hahaha. Perhaps you should actually ask Green Egg, and in turn they could leak some of the aspects of the game to us? :wink:

Do you remember anything huge on how GDC came up with Round Up (and Clean Sweep, Elevation, etc.)? I can’t imagine coming up with those games from scratch.

I feel like the hanging was FRC inspired however now that i hear JVN taking about next seasons game already it may just be a coincidence.

Yep. Just a coincidence. Our game is basically designed by September of the previous year. We already know our game, the scoring values, and the majority of the rules (just not the fine points of the rules). So any similarities to games announced between now and April is pure coincidence.

an BTW, everyone told me I needed to do something about Q because he was in the lead. When I was done with him he dropped to 12th!
