VEX Girl Powered Constraints

Hello! The official Girl Powered site says that

It doesn’t, however, specify the size of every page. Is it alright to assume that size of the book can ranger from 8.5" by 11" to larger, as long as it less that 200MB?

Also, is it permissible to parody famous works in our storybook, as well as allude to various pop-culture happenings?

  1. Yes, the dimensions of the book can vary, as long as it is less than 200MB limit. This is an electronic storybook, so printed dimensions do not factor in, as judges will be reviewing these entries online only.
You must submit your book either via web link or direct upload as a .pdf file.
  2. You may parody famous works and/or allude to pop-culture happenings as long as it does not infringe on copyright issues (example: Mickey Mouse cannot be a character in your story, as that is a Disney character under copyright). Just be sure to meet all the Requirements listed in the challenge, and also review the Judging Information section: “The subject matter should reflect the items listed above, namely a challenge the team faced, what was learned in the process of designing, building, and programming a robot or how the robotics experience inspired girls to pursue STEM and/or education fields/careers.”
    Good luck!
