VEX IQ 2nd Gen Bluetooth Connection

I am having trouble getting my VEX IQ 2nd Gen brick conncected via Bluetooth. Can someone help? I am using a Mac, but I would also like to get it Bluetooth connected on a Chromebook. Please advise.

Bluetooth connection is for tablets only at the moment. You’ll need to use a USB cable connected to either the Brain or the 2nd Gen controller.

That’s too bad. Are there plans to get these 2nd Gen brains Bluetooth connectivity for Mac, PC, and Chromebook anytime soon?

Does anyone out there have information on if and when 2nd generation VEX IQ brains will be able to connect to Mac, PC, and Chromebook via Bluetooth? Is this coming? If so, when? How soon? How much of a priority is this for VEX?

Yes, would like to know when that is going to be possible to use PC with the 2nd Gen VEX IQ robot via bluetooth

Yes, me too. Seems that no one knows. VEX has told me they are working on it, but it is not a top priority, and they do not have a date when they think it might be ready. That is too bad since I imagine many more people would buy the 2nd gen brains and kits if they were Bluetooth-ready for PC, Mac, and Chromebook.
