Vex IQ Brain 2nd gen and controller connecting problem with all instructions

There is a VEX IQ GEN 2 brain. The control panel is also GEN 2. The problem is that it is impossible to connect them according to any of the instructions.

Never connected before under any circumstances.

The official instruction does not work: I simultaneously pressed two buttons and the power button according to the instructions, it does not come out.

According to another instruction, they suggested updating the version of VEXOS on the controller and the brain, but the control panel is not defined in any way, so the OS cannot be updated

The remote control has a socket for the network, and charging via micro usb. At the bottom of the controller is a smart radio.

The brain itself has a built-in radio controller, it does not have a network connector

Question is - how do I connect them?

Hopefully you are following these instructions.

First power on the controller. Next hold L1 and L2, then press power button twice, a bit like a double click of a mouse.

That does not sound like a Gen 2 controller, more like a Gen 1 controller, that would need to be updated to the latest version of firmware using a Gen 1 brain and the vexos utility application for Gen 1 equipment.

There is my controller and brain. I can’t recognize them.

Is there a way to update controller without gen1? Because I don’t have it
