Vex IQ Gyro sensor incrementing automatically

We are using VEXcode IQ for our programming, and we realized our gyro sensor was automatically incrementing every few seconds. This was happening when the robot was completely still. Does anyone know how to fix this?

by how much ? some gyro drift is expected.

Every few seconds it would increment by 1. It is not a lot, but it messes up our programming.
