Vex Iq Motor not working

Hi I have a vex motor that is not working. Already checked the cables and tested and that is working. I have updated the firm ware on all the motors earlier but not sure if that one took it. When it is connected to the vex utility it is not detected. Does not look like any of the pins are broken. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

Assuming a Gen 1 brain since you’re mentioning the VexOS utility. Just asking these since you didn’t mention them specifically:

  1. Did you try that motor on another port on a completely different group of ports? (E.g. if the motor is in port 2, that’s in the 1-3 group, try it in port 5)
  2. Does the brain see the motor at all in the Device Info screen?
  3. If you have another brain available, have you checked using that brain?

Depending on how old the motor is, if all of the above is ‘Yes’ and it’s still not being seen, contact Vex support would be my recommendation.
