Can someone explain to me how the different parts of the new vex iq linear motion pack work together. I’ve used the older linear motion kit, and I understand how to use it correctly, but the various components for the new one make for a lot of confusion on how they all fit together, or if they are each used differently. Thanks in advance!
The rack gear get used the same way as the prior kits.
The nice thing is the longer rack gear.
The slides have extra rails let you build parallel slides or guides.
I have a demo of changing rotational motion to linear to create a puncher. Setup is like a steam locomotive, but the force comes from the wheel. It’s in a school, I’ll try to grab a picture of it.
