I’m assuming you refer to adjusters you can place in the back to position your robot with the goal. My suggestions for those:

  • Angle: find the right angle for your fins. Don’t make them too wide in angle, or they won’t be able to fully position your bot straight.
  • Flexibility: make sure they are flexible, so they don’t break off. An example of this is using the shock absorbers (springs) to hold the fins in place, but not break on strong impact.
  • Visibility: make them bright and colorful, so their tips are clearly detectable. This is more for the driving, not autonomous.
