Calling all VEX IQ fans! We’re excited to announce the VEX IQ Summer Build Contest!
Just because school is out for the summer, doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with VEX IQ! In fact, we want to see just how creative you can be with this challenge. We are excited to launch our VEX IQ robot build contest - to see what designs you can come up with using VEX IQ parts or SnapCAD!
Participation in the VEX IQ robot build contest is simple: design a unique VEX IQ robot using SnapCAD, or build it using your VEX IQ parts, and submit it to the VEX IQ Build Contest review team. The build contest will run from 12:00 A.M. CST on June 24 through 11:59:59 P.M. CST on July 20, 2015.
You can enter the contest as an individual, or as a team. Entrants must be between the ages 8 - 14 years old. Limit to one entry per week. To submit a photo of your VEX IQ robot or a JPEG of your SnapCAD design, please have a parent or guardian send us an email to [email protected] and include your name and age along with the photo of your VEX IQ robot or JPEG of your SnapCAD design. You can also send us a printed out photo of your VEX IQ robot via mail to VEX Robotics, Inc. Attn: VEX IQ Build Contest, 1519 Interstate 30 West, Greenville, Texas 75402. Entrants’ name, age, phone number and an e-mail address must be included so that winners may be notified.
Every week we will spotlight some of the best submissions on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
There will be a first and second place prize that we will award to the winners at the end of the contest.
