does anyone else use IRC? id like to set up a channel for chatting about vex
right now im on EsperNet, freenode, and OFTC
I would be interested, but I’ve never used IRC. Can you share text files and images? Also, is the communication on the channel saved so you can refer back to stuff and people that hop on mid chat won’t have to be caught up?
usually those are shared through sites like imgur or hastebin
you can send files directly to people using DCC which depends on the client
Logging bots are common, they simply post the entire chat to a webpage and i can set up one easily
and if you are using a bouncer that is connected 24/7 you can usually get a scrollback of everything
