Many micro usb ports seem to just fall off, is there somewhere we can check to see if we are in warranty or have the brains repaired by vex? or where can we get the exact materials needed for the repair?
if not, is there anything we can do Besides purchasing controllers and radios. Thank you

Can’t say this enough.
Some of these will solve your broken port problems. This brand is out of stock, but others are easy to find.
If that doesn’t fit your liking (the magnets do pick up metal filings), then just get a 3" micro extension cable and zip tie it to the brain so you can access it easily.

It’s not going to fix the micro b port which is what the poster is asking about but yes this is a great investment if you want to improve the longevity of your V5 brain.
Do those connect to controllers too?
Yes. They also connect in either rotation direction. Very nice…
