We are new this year to Vex and we cannot get our keys to connect to each other. We have used flow chart and updated everything, but the robot will only work if the USB is plugged in to it. Please help! We are completely novice at this.
Did you link your Cortex and Remote?
Are you sure you’ve updated everything? Have you updated the VEXnet keys themselves? We had a problem a couple weeks ago where robots would not connect and it was just that the keys themselves were out of date.
The current code for the cortex and joystick is 4.23. The current code for the keys is 1.46. Make sure everything is updated and it should work.
Yes, indeed, this sounds like a failure to update to the latest firmware.
