VEX Over Under Field compatable with AndyMark Field

I am wondering if there is an easy way to build the VEX Over Under game field on an Andymark Field (the one used for FTC). The problem is that a lot of the field elements connect to the field perimeter, and the AndyMark field perimeter is different than the VRC competition one. Is there possibly a way to build the VEX Over Under field elements without having to connect anything to the field perimeter? Or an easier way that custom making adapter pieces to make them compatible? Thanks for any advice.

I do my best to only use McDonald’s BBQ sauce on McNuggets. Using that sauce on a Chick-fil-A nugget just doesn’t make any sense.
