Vex Parts design

Is it possible to copy the designs from Vex Robotics’s parts and chemically make your own parts to function and look exactly like the official parts? is it also possible to also make the parts in the same materials as Vex Would?

For example: can i make a 60 tooth gear with the same demeanors and the same elements needed to make it look and function like the official part Vex Makes?

would this count as 3d printing and would this break a rule involving 3d printing and unofficial parts in the IQ and VRC competition?

Is it possible? Yes, if VEX can do it, so can you****

*unless you plan on making your own factory it would be more expensive than just buying it off of VEX
*Why?
*this is not legal for IQ or VRC, so why again?
*this would require a lot of materials thay your school would feel pretty suspicious giving you (“Mr. Principle I need some blowtorches to melt plastic with potentially toxic fumes to fabricate parts I could easily buy online”)

Depends on your manufacturing method. You can print them, die-cast, or (recommended) use injection molding. All of this is illegal in VRC and VEX IQ.
