Hi,

I’ve been a member of the forum for a long time now and I have been building robots with VEX as a hobby ever since it’s debut at Radio Shack. I’ve loved doing this - building robots has been my favorite thing in the world to do. Things have change though the past few years and I haven’t be able to do that any more.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now and I have decided to sell off some of my VEX parts. I’m not going to ask much for them - I’m just trying to make a little extra money and mainly, get the parts into the hands of people who could use them. For the past few years, they have just been collecting dust. Some of the parts have been used, but most of them have barely been used or have never been used at all.

Here is a list of most of them:

Transmitter and receiver module - used, in great condition
Signal Splitter - new, only used once to check it out
PIC Microcontroller - used, a few scratches
PIC Microcontroller - new only used once to check it out.
VEXnet upgrade - like new, only used for a week or so
Dual Battery Charger - used, but in great condition
2 7.2v NiCad Batteries - used

I’ve tried to take very good care of my parts over the years and even parts I’ve used are in very good or great condition. They have only been used in my home and never in any competition. Most of the metal parts have only been lightly used, but a few of them do have marks from the Keps nuts or heads of the screws. Those parts have been used more than the others.

If anyone is interested in any of these parts, please let me know. I’m not trying to sell them as a set or anything like that. I was thinking of asking between 50 - 70% of orginal prices - if that sounds fair. If not - please make me an offer.

It’s been hard to keep track of all of the posts and private messages, but I think I have it figured out. I hope this sounds fair to everyone - I will sell an item or items to whoever asks first.

Since several people have asked, I made an inventory of all the metal parts tonight and tomorrow I hope to post a complete list with prices.

Now, on to the questions:

Probably $25-$30 if that sounds fair? Several people have asked about this so far.

It was a hard decision, but I’ll still try to keep up with the forum. I only have 1 Ultrasonic sensor and there are some of all those “small” parts in the miscellaneous parts. I don’t have a Tank Tread ugrade kit - just 10 of the fins - 5 large and 5 medium.

OK, but ManicMechanic asked about some of the metal parts. Would you still be interested in the rest? I will message you tomorrow.

Several other people have asked about it, but I will add your name to the list.

I hope that answers all of your questions and I will try my best to get prices posted tomorrow and to keep track of who asked for which item(s) first. I’ll try to keep everything straight.

What exactly do you mean by “Thick Mat - new”? Are those the anti-slip mats or the foam tiles?

I’m interested if you are referring to the foam tiles

I was actually refering to the Anti-Slip Mat, but I do have some gray foam tiles that I would be willing to sell. I think I have 6-7 of the 2ftx2ft tiles - they are lightly used and have a few scuff marks just from testing. I only used them a few times in our kitchen. Would $4ea be fair?

I also have 4 1ftxft gray tiles too.

Unfortunately, we are having a few money problems. You can just pass it along to someone else. We would like the foam tiles though.
