Does anyone know the resistance value of a VEX pot? Is it 10K?
I don’t know the value offhand, but why don’t you just check with a multimeter? Doing so would be a trivial and inexpensive process.
Trivial if I had a VEX potentiometer here, but I don’t.
The reason I ask is I’m using a Cortex in a non-VEX application and I’ve got a device with a 100k pot in it that I’ll be using. But actually, thinking about it I don’t believe it really matters since the differential is the same regardless and as current is not really an issue, it’s probably irrelevant if it is 10K or 100K.
I see. But yes, the resistance does not really matter as long as the voltages are the same.
It’s a 10K pot.
