Vex Pro and VS Code

Hi! I have been using VEX pro to code using c++, and lately, their have been quite a few glitches. I am using an apple mac book air, and sometimes it just closes randomly. When I try to re-open it, it will close again, and only after a few tries, it will actually stay and not close randomly. About 15 minutes go by and then it will close again, it’s a cycle that never stops. When it closes, it usually doesn’t save the newly written code, so I would have to re write it which gets very frustrating. Because of these glitches, I moved to Visual Studio Code, but for me, it also has some problems. I notice that it doesn’t really download the program in a way. Sometimes it will download some of the newly written program, but not all of it. It also can’t connect to the controler and download, it would only pick up the signal if it’s directly connected to the robot brain, which makes the process of downloading, testing, and fixing the program a lot more complicated. Is this just in my case?

That sounds like an issue with project structure if you have moved to a multi-file project.

Can you use the feedback tool after connecting the controller and/or attempting a download so tech support can see the log files. Is all the firmware up to date on the V5 brain and controller ?
