Welcome Back
The Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (RECF) would like to welcome all VRC teams to the 2011-2012 competition season. RECF has been working hard this summer to prepare for this year’s competitions. By all accounts, it looks like it is going to be another record breaking year!
Register Today - Become an Official 2011-12 VRC Team
Registration is open - register your team today at RobotEvents.com. We are pleased to announce that there is NO fee increase to become an official VRC team this year! Registration is only $75 for the first team at a school or club, and $25 for each additional team with the same Team Number (but different suffix).

Announcing: VEX Robot World Cup 2011
Want to do something different this year? How about a trip to New Zealand for the VEX Robot World Cup? This event promises to be an incredible multi-national event. Check it out here. The event organizers have made some incredible arrangements like FREE lodging, reduced registration fees, and an amazing prize of $10,000 (nz) for the winning team to use to pay for the entry fee and hotel accommodation costs for the 2012 VEX World Championship. Sign up soon because the competition is right around the corner on October 11-13.
Announcing: The 3rd Annual Disney All-Star Challenge
The Robotics Education and Competition Foundation will hold the 3rd annual Disney All-Star Challenge on November 10th-12th at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
We would like to announce that Disney is offering teams more affordable and flexible accommodation packages this year. Additional information about the event, accommodation packages, and registration procedures can be found here.
Also, we are offering an early-bird registration price of $250.
GATEWAY - The 2011-2012 VRC Competition
This year’s game is Gateway. There have already been a number of tournaments around the world, so be sure to check out YouTube to see some of the early season action! All of the game documentation can be found here.
The VEX Gateway Goal & Object Kit is available here. The kit includes 2 red barrels, 2 blue barrels, 2 red balls, 2 blue balls, and one 30" goal.
