VEX Robotics is currently out of stock of the 84 tooth gears and since our district takes forever to approve a separate company to purchase from, would it be acceptable to 3D-print our gears? I know I have already posted about 3D-printing parts and if we still cannot, then is there any other way we can get 84 tooth gears without going through a different source?
You can not print replacement parts for VEX Robotics Competitions. Robomesh and other suppliers are around and probably have stock.
I am not going to be able to approve the company through the district before my state competition on February 25
I would ask some teams that around your area if they would be willing to loan you some, until you can get some from vex.
We at Robot Mesh are also out of 84-tooth HS gears, otherwise, you could just pull out a credit card and order them. 
How many do you need? We might have a small surplus. PM me if you only need 1 or 2.
