I find it really neat that it lists the teams in our area first.

It seems just a tad bit confusing to use at first, but when you find the right button to hit, you can get a ton of information.

One suggestion I have is that you should include highest Skills score for each team, etc.

Skills scores is a good idea. I’ll add that in the next update.

WOW, this app is awesome to say the least. I simply typed in my team number and it popped up all of our upcoming tournaments. So easy to use! Great job, Ruiqi!

But I do have two questions…

  1. How do I view my team’s past events (if possible)?
  2. I am participating in the Fox Valley VRC League, but the app says that there is no information on RobotEvents - is it supposed to say that (the league won’t have results until tomorrow but would be nice to check team numbers and such)?

Hey Dakota!

  1. Swipe in from the left or tap on the drawer icon on the top left, and you can press on “Find Team” or “Find Tournament”. Then, you’ll know what to do from there.
  2. The app doesn’t allow you to view information about a tournament until both the result csv and the rankings csv files are available. I’ll add in the ability to view only the team list in the next version.

Suggestion: Allow viewing of skills scores for skills only tournaments. I tapped a skills-only-competition that I know has the scores up, and it said that the tournament information was unavailable from RobotEvents.

anyone have a good way to run this without an android phone (emulator, embedded in webpage, etc)?

I’ve seen this bug on ART as well. Still trying to figure out if this is a problem with my application or with ART. Try switching back to Dalvik and see if you can reproduce this. If not, well, then there’s nothing I can do about it, unfortunately.
