Hi everyone, I was wondering if there’s a specific direction a robot must face at the start of the game, or if the team can choose the direction.

Starting a Match. Prior to the start of each Match, the Robot must be placed such that it is:
a. Contacting / “breaking the plane” of their Alliance’s Starting Line. See Figure SG1-1.
b. Not contacting any Scoring Objects other than one (1) preload. See rule .
c. Not contacting any other Robots.
d. Completely stationary (i.e., no motors or other mechanisms in motion).
Violation Notes: The Match will not begin until the conditions in this rule are met. If a Robot
cannot meet these conditions in a timely manner, the Robot will be removed from the Field and
rules and will apply until the situation is corrected.
