Vex V5 .stl files

Does anyone know any website that’s safe to download .stl files of vex products? I understand vex has .step but i didnt see any .stl’s.

Most CAD softwares allow you to import .step files and export .stl files. Would that work?

This. Alternatively, you can convert .STEP to .STL via an online resource.

Unfortunately my cad programs, fusion 360 personal free edition and tinkercad do not support .step

Perhaps it’s time to upgrade your skill’s stack. You can get “free” educational licenses for most of the industry-standard commercial CAD packages. There are links and information in this paper: CAD for VEX Robotics.pdf - Google Drive

I haven’t updated this in a while, so the “part library” resources are probably not good, but the license information should be fine.

If what you are looking for in a 3-D modeling program is it being free, check out the Autodesk 3-D modeling programs. They allow you to get some of them for free with a student account here: https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview Of them, I know that at least Autodesk Inventor supports .step files.
