The DiscoBots have qualified 5 teams for world championship and we need to calculate cost per team for the World Championship. We are trying to decided between the GET package and outside hotel package.
We are running these numbers with a team of four students for Outside hotel.
$350 (3 nights ) for one room
$800 ($200 per person) - from Houston to Orlando
$200 ($50 per day) for four days
$200 Gas and food / misc expenses
$750 Registration Fee
$2300 per team of four students.
Any suggestions on other expenses I might be missing ?
Does anyone know the estimates of Entrance fees to Disney ?
If a team wanted to stay an extra day or two to tour Disney World, I believe that it will cost about $139 per person to enter Disney. This is the cost of a 2-day pass which is the only option for out-of-state teams.
As for the total cost, I know that it will cost a lot more than the 2010 World Championships in Dallas given the higher costs of being held in Orlando instead of Dallas.

where it appears it will cost about $14person/day to enter the Wide World of Sports Complex, and she says there are better priced tickets for the length of event however I have been unable to locate those prices

I assume when you say “team members”, you mean anyone associated with at team, to include chaperones, parents, siblings, will not need to pay - correct?
