I’m preparing for VEX worlds in April and I can’t seem to find a risk assessment for the venue, does anyone know where I can find it?

Hi, I’m a teacher/coach and will be bringing my team to Dallas from Bangkok. For a school trip I’ll need a risk assessment as part of my paperwork. I cant find it on the robot events documents page and so just wondered where I’d get it from.

There is no formal risk assessment that I know of for teams to report of generally.

When I do my field trip proposal - there are many contingencies we need to consider - for example, should field trip leader become ill? - what existing health risks exist, such as student allergic to tree nuts… another consideration - where do you instruct student team members to go if Hotel is being cleared, or convention? Another concern is off site contacts…

These situations should be considered by coaches for every event.

Do your school or the Ministry of Education of Thailand have any templates for risk assessment?

I know we do have a template provided by the ministry for this purpose.
