That doesn’t negate the fact that making individual threads for each (super old) recf email was unnecessary.

Yes, please, @ruby_pontbriand nothing personal.
Our own regular members already do a good job generating plenty of clutter in the #edr-general-discussion:chit-chat-rumor-mill and some of it is pretty funny. 
And, by the way, @DRow the @system account that is the owner of the category headings seems to own a bunch of spam messages if you look back all the way before Feb 11 forum upgrade:
