Two questions regarding the V5 Block Competition Template

  1. Will the template pass inspection, and work correctly, if I were to configure the controller via the device setup screen, and leave the " When Drive Control" event block blank?

  2. If I were to use “when Controller…” event blocks, instead of doing everything inside the repeat forever block (using if/else statements), under the “driver Control” event block; will it work correctly with the match controller switch, and pass inspection.

  1. Yes, we’ve tested it with the official field control systems. The “Devices” window controller code only triggers in Driver Control mode.
