VEX Robotics is announcing a trade-in program aimed at assisting existing VEXnet USB Adapter Key users who wish to upgrade to the new VEXnet Key 2.0.
Customers will receive $30 off of a new VEXnet Key 2.0 for each original (black) VEXnet USB Adapter Key returned to us. We will accept any number of original VEXnet Keys. Returned Keys with more than minimal damage will not be considered valid trade-ins.
Example: (10) original VEXnet USB Adapter Keys are returned and accepted. Customer will be e-mailed a coupon code allowing them to purchase (10) VEXnet 2.0 Keys at $9.99 each. Normal shipping charges will apply based on customer’s selected shipping method.
The new VEXnet Key 2.0 is designed to be a functionally identical replacement to the current VEXnet USB Adapter Key. The new Key utilizes the new VEXnet 2.0 communication protocol. This consists of a custom 2.4 GHz data radio instead of the 802.11b/g wireless link used in the original VEXnet Key.
