Vexnet Competition issue
we encountered an issue at a tournament last weekend where we were getting the following sequence of lights on our joystick: solid green joystick; no robot light; solid red vexnet light; and solid green game light. could anyone please explain what this sequence of lights means? i had all green to begin the match and this happened after autonomous had ended. once the competition switch was disengaged after the match these lights returned to their all green state. the reference sheet about the LEDs of the joystick did not have this light configuration listed. Thanks for your insight.

Re: Vexnet Competition issue
mbrunn,
I have never seen that combination of LEDs before, but basically it appears that you lost your VEXnet link when changing from autonomous mode to driver mode.
Do you have a VEXnet Competition Switch?
If so, can you duplicate the issue using the switch?

yes we do have one. we have tried on the practice fields at the competition and the one we have at our building to duplicate the results using the competition switch simulator. we cannot seem to duplicate these results however. we have tried our code in other cortexs also and have not been able to get this combination of lights. i have attached the version of our program that we used at the tournament where this happened in case it may be a programming issue. thanks for your help!

Re: Vexnet Competition issue
mbrunn,
Maybe this was an isolated incident.
Also feel free to post your program on the EasyC Technical Support Forum, as they may have better feedback on your code.
Thanks.

we were told that posting here may be able to achieve better feedback. is there any part of this code that would prevent us to regain control of our robot after autonomous ended? thanks for your time.
