My robot has a four bar mogo and a elevator with a chainbar on it. My cortex is held on by two bolts and hangs upwards.
When my mogo lift goes down my vexnet dies, whenever we use the elevator it also disconnects. Any ideas. Tonight I’ll try to upload a picture but I can’t take a picture of it in school.
Try taping the VexNet key to the cortex. Some robots that have exposed or shaky cortices can have the key shaken loose or removed if they’re hit hard enough.
I get that all the time, and usually, its the USB port on the cortex. we just used a different cortex, and that took care of the problem.
Are there any frayed wires near your mobile goal lift that it could be touching when it goes down that’s shorting your cortex and causing it to disconnect. At one point we had a beat up lcd wire and when ever the lift came down just right it would connect the three individual wires and caused the cortex to short and disconnect.
