Vexnet issue please help asap!

Hello,
We have a tournament in a week and have just hit a major roadblock in preparation. We were about to begin practice this morning when we found out our vexnet connectivity is not working properly. after using the vexnet troubleshooting page, our colour code is still not listed. it is as follows.

  1. turned on remote and cortex.
  2. VEXNET light blinked orange slowly for a moment
    3.green joystick light came on.
  3. VEXNET orange light blinked much faster while green joystick light flashed.
  4. all lights on joystick (other then game light) flash green for less than a second.
    6.all lights go off except for VEXNET which flashes red slowly.
    7 vexnet light flashes red for about 3-5 seconds before going back to orange and blinking orange fast repeatedly until turned off.

we really need to prepare so we need help as quick as possible!

Are you able to successfully establish a tether connection between Cortex & Joystick?

hey eli, yes. when the tether cord is used, it drives scores and completes every task assigned. no known errors or changes. it is only when the cord is removed and wireless connection is attempted, in which no connection is established. we have used every combinatly using our 8 vexnet keys in both the controller and the cortex.
