I just got a new Cortex and joystick. We got the new 2.0 keys and I updated the firmware on both units. I then took the USB cable and hooked the 2 together for them to link.
I eventually turned everything on and in the end I get a red light blinking on the cortex on the VEXNet light and by Robot on the controller.
I tried another set of keys and got the same results. The red light on the Cortex is blinking 2 times at a time.
Suggestions? Fixes?

Can you please attach a screenshot of the firmware upgrade utility you used to upgrade the VEXnet Keys 2.0?
Also did you upgraded the Microcontroller & Joystick?
If so, please attach a screenshot of such upgrade utility as well.
PS- A similar & already solved problem was posted here.

I used the key update tool from the other forum link as well the regular update tool for EasyC for the joystick and cortex. I am attaching the pics for all of the screenshots. I also hooked the cortex and the joystick with the cable to sync them… still no go.
I am having trouble uploading pics right now, so I will try later.
