I am a new 6th grader in VEX, and we did an online challenge but didn’t reach the finals. I’ve heard a couple of times that the world virtual skills standings could qualify you in your region (state). But I’m not sure. I’ve read the qualifying criteria, and it said the top 10 high school teams get a spot to the worlds. Is this still true for middle school?
Congrats on submitting to online challenges. The criteria states " if the winning entry is from a VEX V5 Robotics or VEX IQ Robotics Competition team that has competed in their program with a physical robot during their competition season, they will also receive an automatic qualification to the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship". A finalist only receives a vex premium license. So to answer your question, only one spot to worlds is awarded for virtual skills per grade level, that including middle school. If you have any more questions than read up on the official rules here: https://challenges.robotevents.com/challenge/292/vexcode-vr-virtual-skills-challenge-middle-school
