I’m not sure if this is the right place for this, but I and a few other EPs are trying to figure out if tournaments are even possible this year due to COVID-19. We had an idea for a completely online VEX IQ competition that we think could work given our current social distancing/shelter-in-place world we now live in. Even though a few things would need to be changed, it still keeps the spirit of cooperation and interaction between teams while working together to score as many points as possible. I know it isn’t exactly the same, but I think it’s as close to “normal” as we can get. It would also allow teams from all over the world to compete in virtual competitions as well. Half of the EPs in the video were from California and the other half from Hawaii.
