Vision sensor drivers

Sorry if this is a duplicate – I think I just sent you a personal message, but there was no feedback that it went out.

I’ll check the device manager next week when school is back in session. But generally we don’t have authority to install anything on these laptops.

This is the first time I’ve been offered the ability to PM since the forum shake-up. (Offered as words to the the effect of “You’ve replied to jpearman three times. Would you like to send a message instead?”) Is there still a way to PM without getting this prompt?

Again, thanks for your help!

PMs are still disabled, message doesn’t get sent even if receiving the prompt.

To answer your question: Yes, the vision sensor does appear in the Windows Device Manager, even though it can’t be configured.

So it appears we’ll be unable to use either codev5.vex.com or the (not updateable)VEXcode on the school laptops to configure a vision sensor.

(A student brought in his own Windows laptop with a current version of VEXcode and it did successfully access the vision sensor.)

Thank you.
