I have been experimenting with the vision sensor for the past few months. I have gotten my code to work successfully many times in the past. However, the vision sensor has not been responding lately. Since nothing about my code changed, I first tried plugging it into different ports on the v5 microcontroller. It still did not respond. So, I asked my director for a brand new sensor. It did not respond either. It showed on the v5 that the sensor was connected, but when I tapped on the vision icon, the colored squares wouldn’t pop up indicating that it was detecting colors or anything. Upon plugging the sensor into my computer, the LED flashes and then goes really dim. However, inside the vision utility, images are displayed in real time, and I am still able to create signatures. So, I tried doing a firmware update. I held the button on the sensor while plugging it into my computer, and the update firmware window came up. I clicked yes, and it asked me for a .hex file that was required. It did not specify the file name or file path. I looked in the coding studio files and could not find it. I also looked in the other files on my computer. What should I do?
