Volunteer in Worlds 2023

Hi,

Just found some previous discussions about volunteering in the Worlds and get a fast pass to skip the line during Inspection and Skill challenge. Does it apply to the Worlds 2023?

If so, what is the rule of getting a fast pass? (i. e. what roles of volunteer is specified, how many shft is needed…)

Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am not sure how they are doing in-person volunteers, but I just got an email yesterday asking for online judge volunteers. I am copying and pasting it as it seems to answer some of your questions.
Qualified teams can earn the Fast Pass with volunteers serving as remote judges! Fast pass requirements have been modified as an added incentive as follows:

• Each team whose volunteers complete 12+ hours (minimum of four (4) 3-hour shifts) of remote judging will earn a Fast Pass
• These 4 shifts can be completed by a single individual, or be divided among 2 individuals.
• Fast Pass can only be used once for Skills
• Fast Pass can only be used once for Merchandise at Fine Design
  • You may purchase 5 apparel items total from the fast lane, and
  • each apparel item to have one logo/design placed on the front of each item
• Multiple Fast Passes can be earned by one team
