**Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Academy VEX Toss Up Robots Virtual World Competition **
Carnegie Mellon™ Robotics Academy, a research-based organization committed to teaching students how to program robots, is excited to support VRC teams again this year. The new VEX Toss Up Programming Game can be used in classrooms, by coaches, or by competition providers and FREE Programming Classes that your students can take. The new game is designed to teach programming and includes a $5000 prize that was provided by Robomatter Inc. and will be awarded by the REC Foundation. The Robotics Academy has also developed CS2N Groups Technology, which enables teachers, coaches, and regional competition sponsors to host their own programming and remote control virtual competitions. **UPDATE: Autodesk Software Grant for VEX Teams! **
Autodesk is granting Autodesk® Design Academy 2014 software licenses to schools that have a VEX program. The location of the grant information has changed. 2014 VRC World Championship is only 133 Days Away!
Join us at the Anaheim Convention Center in California on April 23-26, 2014. The 2015 World Championship will also be in Anaheim from April 22-25, 2015, so plan ahead.
