Hello, I was attempting to go and see the judging finalists for my worlds division (Math B). However, as I was trying to navigate to the afternoon division I noticed it had disappeared, and the link posted on the homepage for vex worlds just gave me an error message when directed to robot events. I was wondering if anyone knew what happened.
Thanks - Team 38053A

The separate AM/PM events used for registration were merged into 1 multi-division event on RobotEvents.

Got it, thank you. Will the judging finalists for the PM event be posted on the new merged page?
Links to “LRT High School Afternoon Division” point to a scary “there is nothing here” (https://www.robotevents.com/robot-competitions/vex-robotics-competition/RE-VRC-21-3804.html)
If you are lucky to find a link that works, you are transported here (2021 Live Remote VEX Robotics World Championship presented by Northrop Grumman Foundation – VEX Robotics Competition High School Division (LRT) : Robot Events) where you see a division list comprised of Reseach 1/2, Science 1/2, Technology 1/2. Arts, Math and the other one I don’t recall are gone. We’re told they had “merged” but all you see is the morning people.
Why is this such a mess?
Also, what is the “most official” and/or “most updated” place to get up to date info? Is it vexwords.com, is it robotevents.com, is it the app (which downloads PDFs on my tiny phone screen, but I can’t find those PDFs in other ways).
Lastly, unrelated but since I’m ranting - besides the fact that an entire LRT competition was disappeared, noticed the unfair and rather large discrepancy between LRS and LRT, the LRS people have 11 judged awards as opposed to the 5 for the LRT people and what makes me laugh the most is the “Energy Award” - 4 teams battling vs. a robot running auton for a minute.

@Brandon_Martus - Thank you. I get the results, although you just linked me back to the same place on robotevents.com which does not talk about LRT VRC High School afternoon divisions.
Rephrasing question: Where are the VRC LRT High School Afternoon divisions? Why/where did they vanish?
I’ve seen teams with a cool LED light show and dancing between their runs. That’s showing some high energy while repairs are going on.
Lighten up on the rants, it’s a verrrry strange year and everyone is doing the best they can.

@Foster: I hear you and I have tremendous respect for Dan and his entire team. Problem is, for $500 virtual, I expect information to be pretty perfect, websites updated etc., especially when I have kids panicking that their division was erased and weird questions go through your brain such as “hmmm, maybe registration did not work, are we even registered for the event”. We have LEDs and dance as well, alas no energy award for us even possible
LRT here if you did not guess. Anyway I will shut up and enjoy watching Worlds now! Good luck everyone.

HS merged AM/PM into 1 RobotEvents event, similar to how the 2 MS events merged into 1 RobotEvents event. I believe they were initially set up with separate AM/PM events for registration purposes. To run the event in LRT, they all need to be in the same multi-division event on RobotEvents.

@Brandon_Martus: Understood. So Arts and the rest are gone now, merged into the other 3 that are posted? I guess I’ll go figure out the new schedules. Thanks.

Also, I was wondering where the judging finalists for the Math division can be found, as they have not been posted on the event page.
Division names have been posted to the event on RobotEvents – match schedules are yet to be generated. AM/PM schedules should remain the same, though.

Apologies for being an uneducated brute but this is what I see (yes, refreshed the browser). There is no Math, Arts, Engineering. Is this the wrong place? Again, sorry if I’m stupid.
Ah, we updated the Results tab from the LRT system. I’ve just added the links on the General Info tab (where you were looking) with the PM divisions.
