Instead of:

Let’s use something like:

http://polynomic3d.com/user/smith/Forum_VEX_EDR_2.png

The rationale being that the header forms a natural 110 px tall area of the forum, the ONLY THING making this span larger is the logo.

http://polynomic3d.com/user/smith/EDR_whatever.png

A smaller logo that is designed to be exactly 110 px tall would:

A. Align the black line thats meant to close the header and form the “top” part of the site in the correct place making the padding between the center aligned text and the buttons all line up
B. Critically allocate more space for the actual content.

Please don’t wait two+ years on this one, this is a ten minute job. Just do it.

Might as well have the “Community Forum” on the right (EDIT)with the “EDR” instead of removing the “EDR” fully. Just my suggestion :slight_smile:

I actually love the first one you made! Being nice and compact, as well as not extending outwards too long.

You’d probably want the EDR to be flush with the top of the VEX “E”.

My understanding is that “EDR” is specifically the educational branding, it really doesn’t belong at all. This forum is for more than that, it services the entire VEX line other than IQ.

I really don’t even care if the layout is kept as is, just shrink it, or whatever, 100 px tall period.

Does this forum really service vex pro though?

VEX pro does come up from time to time, but the overwhelming majority of the forum’s users are EDR.
