Our school is understandably trying to minimize the amount of school we miss, so we’re essentially trying to leave as late as possible Wednesday. I know 7:30 is the end of check-in - does that mean you absolutely have to be there by then, or would later that night still work?
Wednesday was really useful. If anything breaks on the robot, that’s your chance to do large repairs. Test all of your Autonomous modes, play on the raised fields, give your drivers and scouts time to take it all in. Send some other people to check into the hotels while you get the pits set up.
We’re trying to get in around noon or one.
You can also check in Thursday morning, starting at 7:30am.
I totally agree with this. Our robot was fairly loose everywhere after transport, and it allowed us to get it tightened and prepped for the tournament. I would recommend giving yourself the most prep time as possible, because there is always something to check… Good luck 
Our team hasn’t arrived until Thursday morning for as long as I can remember. We spent Wednesday the last few years at Disney. You should be just fine, we never had any problem not being there until Thursday.

We used to fly out on Wednesday, but last year our coach, our robot, and I got delayed at Chicago Airport and missed the first day of the competition. My teammates had to run the first three matches with a clawbot that VEX generously loaned them, but lost all 3 matches. We learned our lesson and this year we’re leaving earlier (attending 2 extra days of school last year was definitely not worth it).
We always arrived very late on Wednesday.
