I am trying to set up one of the old vex speakers to work on a v5 brain. From what i have found the best solution seems to be to try and wire a legacy motor ports to a v5 smart wire. The other option i found was to try and link a DAC up in the system as well. Anyone have any ideas on how to do any of this?
You’d need an external DAC because the V5 brain doesn’t have one.
And the smart ports communicate using RS485.
